JonBenet's death is still unsolved. In May of 2022, John Ramsey asked the governor of Colorado to allow outside agencies to conduct DNA tests that might finally provide clues to who killed the baby beauty queen. 

Summary

Six year-old JonBenet Ramsey was killed in her home on Christmas Day, 1996. At some point during the night, she was taken from her bedroom to the basement of her home, where she was sexually assaulted and strangled. 

At first, the family and police believed it was a kidnapping, but a further search of the house revealed the broken body of the little girl. 

Some people believe it was an outside intruder who killed JonBenet. Others think that someone in the family or close to the family committed the crime.

As of today, there has not been an arrest. The case remains unsolved.
